Cuba and The Bahamas Celebrate 43 years of Diplomatic Relations.

Nassau- The Bahamas-November 30, 2017 marked the 43rd Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Cuba and The Bahamas.  Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield and Cuban Ambassador Ismara Vargas Walter commemorated the occasion with the exchange of indigenous artwork from their country, and spoke to the continued friendship, respect and solidarity that have been the pillars for a firm relationship between the two small nations. Ambassador Walter noted, “while celebrating this important anniversary, let us take the opportunity to think about ways to further strengthen the bilateral ties for many more years to come.”
