The Islamic Federal Republic of Comoros Celebrates its National Day

The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, congratulates the Government and People of the Islamic Federal Republic of Comoros on the forty-third anniversary of Independence first celebrated 6^th July, 1975.

The Bahamas and The Comoros Islands are both Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and share mutual interest in the sustainable development and the preservation and protection of the environment.

Best wishes are extended to the Government and People of the Islamic Federal Republic of Comoros for a peaceful and prosperous future.
