MIAMI, Florida — Miss Universe Bahamas Cherell Williamson paid courtesy call to The Bahamas Consulate General Miami on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was welcomed by Consul Terry Archer and the consulate staff. Miss Universe Bahamas’ platform reflects her mission statement, “To be an advocate for disabled people and enlarge an awareness that will capitalize on the greater potentials and opportunities that are available for them.” Additionally, she has expressed an interest in Entrepreneurship, noting that entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity to make positive global changes while remaining profitable. They also have the power to change lives and livelihoods in communities in The Bahamas. She said, “I see them as the conduit for real change and development – a ripple effect that begins with the business and moves into the community.” Miss Williamson was accompanied by Ms. Deanna Christensen of Christensen Consults, a Bahamian-owned company specializing in Marketing, Public Relations and VIP Concierge Services.
