Message from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas on Cote D’Ivoire’s Independence Day, 7 August 2016

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, on behalf of the Government and People of The Bahamas,  is pleased to extend congratulations to the Government and People of Cote D’Ivoire as they celebrate their 56th Independence Day.

Our countries have enjoyed strong diplomatic relations stemming back from 1988 and we anticipate continued growth as we move forward in our collaborative endeavors.

The Republic of Côte d’Ivoire has advanced in many areas, including economic and social dimensions, after their past civil war. With such a turnaround, this country can take pride in its achievements..

We the Government and People of The Bahamas once again send our warmest regards to the Government and People of Cote D’Ivoire during this honorable occasion.
