New Chinese Ambassador-designate makes a courtesy call

May 24th, NASSAU — H.E. Dr. Huan Qinguo, Ambassador-designate of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas made a courtesy call on the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, the Hon. Philip Davis (DPM) and presented the copie d’usage of his Letters of Credence.  Also present from the Netherlands were Ms Nathalie Olijslager, Consul General in Miami and Mr. Dionisio D’Aguilar, Honoray Consul in The Bahamas and Ms Sheila Carey, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ms Sharon Brennen-Haylock, Director General of the Department of the Foreign Service and other Senior Staff members of the Ministry.
