30TH INTER – SESSIONAL MEETING OF CARICOM HEADS OF GOVERNMENT -ST. KITTS AND NEVIS

Dr The Most Honourable Hubert Minnis,  traveled to attend the 30th Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of the Heads of Government Meeting of the Caribbean Community CARICOM.

The Prime Minister led a delegation of senior government officials to the two-day meeting, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield and High Commissioner of The Bahamas to CARICOM Reuben Rahming.

Caribbean leaders in attendance discussed a range of regional matters, including transportation, safety and security, and matters relating to the financial services sector.

Prime Minister Minnis attended the first day of the inter-sessional meeting on February 26, 2019. Also, he took part in a bilateral meeting Her Excellency Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Republic of Estonia.

The Honourable Darren Henfield, Minister of Foreign Affairs represented Prime Minister Minnis on the second day of the inter-sessional meeting, along with High Commissioner Rahming and other senior government officials.

On Sunday, 24th February, 2019, the advance team arrived in St. Kitts & Nevis led by Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Darren Henfield for the Thirtieth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.

On Monday , 25th February, 2019, Prime Minister The Most Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis and The Most Hon. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica arrived in St. Kitts & Nevis for the Thirtieth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis.
