There has been a fire at the Chancery Building of The Bahamas High Commission in London. All staff members are safe. The initial assessment is that the damage has been minor, affecting primarily the back, exterior area of the structure. The Fire Department is still evaluating the situation. It is expected that operations will not be affected.

The Ministry will advise as soon as there is more information.
