Ambassador William Wong Presents Credentials to Morocco

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the official visit, and presentation of credentials of the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, to the Kingdom of Morocco, His Excellency William U. Wong.  Ambassador Wong’s visit was aimed to further strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During this diplomatic mission, Ambassador Wong engaged in high-level discussions with Moroccan officials, fostering collaboration in areas of mutual interest such as trade, culture, and tourism. This visit marks a significant step towards enhancing the bonds of friendship and cooperation between The Bahamas and Morocco.

Among the scheduled events were meetings with key government representatives within The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Ministry of Industry and Trade, The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, and The General Confederation of Moroccan Companies (CGEM). Matters of discussion included visa waiver, cultural exchanges, and exploring avenues for increased economic partnerships. Ambassador Wong aims to build upon the longstanding relationship between the two countries and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Both The Bahamas and Morocco share a commitment to promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development. This visit underscores the importance of diplomatic dialogue in addressing global challenges and promoting international cooperation.
