Office of The Spouse of The Prime Minister

Many who know her or worked alongside her, whether at one of her charities or in the Professional Accounting arena know Mrs. Davis to be an unassuming and avid humanitarian, especially in the areas of gender equality and women’s rights. Mrs. Davis’ tireless fight for the empowerment and full enfranchisement of women, especially those that are poor and marginalised led her to become involved in social and community work since 2010.

She supports the Department of Gender Affairs in all its work, especially in relation to the elimination of violence against women and girls and child protection.

She was part of the Bahamian delegation to the “Commission on the Status of Women” Conference, at The United Nations several times.

Since becoming Spouse of the Prime Minister, in September 2021, Mrs. Davis remains in the fight advocating at the policy level for all NGOs.

Her work has expanded to include the effects of Climate Control, NCDs, Prevention of Cervical Cancer, Mental Health Illness, Adolescent Pregnancy, Gender Based Violence, and health and wellbeing of our nation. She takes these issues regionally and globally to panel discussions and interventions at several PAHO/UN conferences. She is already seeing results from her hard work.
