Travel Advisory: Israel And The Middle East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to large parts of Israel and all of the occupied Palestinian territories. Bahamians are discouraged to embark on nonessential travel to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Take necessary precautions such as checking the local security measures in place and confirming that air and land travel routes have no disruptions before travelling.

As a result of the 13 April 2024 military action taken by Iran against Israel and the escalation in tensions in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Bahamians intending to travel to the Middle East take note of security alerts and threats of terrorism and to remain vigilant at all times.
