The Bahamas Welcomes Five New Ambassadors

Nassau, NP, The Bahamas.

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas welcomed five new foreign emissaries last week in the leadup to Diplomatic Week, which is currently underway in Grand Bahama.

On Wednesday, 30 October HE Marcelo Balbi Calvo presented letters of credence as Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to Governor General the Most. Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt.

On Thursday, 31 October the Governor General was presented with credentials from the incoming High Commissioner of the Republic of India to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, HE Mayank Joshi.

On Friday 1 November, the Governor General was presented with credentials from HE Wendy Paulus-Aminta, Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname to The Bahamas and HE Esme Chombo, High Commissioner of the Republic of Malawi to The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

On Monday 4th November, HE Erja Askola Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to The Bahamas paid a courtesy call on the Governor General to present her credentials.

All of the ambassadors who presented will be non-resident ambassadors.
