The Application Period for OAS Scholarships is Now Open

The OAS’s Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) of the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI) has opened its 2025 Call for Application of the Academic Scholarship Program for graduate and undergraduate studies and/or related research.
The Professional Development Scholarship Program (PDSP) rules shall be applied to the Academic Scholarship Program, as pertains to the Announcement, Application, and Selection Process, as well as the Scholarship Selection committee, as contained in the Manual of Procedures (CIDI/doc.61/13).
Scholarships are tenable at academic institutions in all Member States, including those participating in the OAS Consortium Universities.
A maximum limit of US $10,000 is established on the total cost per scholarship, per academic year for a minimum of 1 and no more than 2 academic years.
1  Undergraduate scholarship shall be offered to OAS member states of the English-speaking Caribbean and Suriname.
1 Graduate scholarship shall be offered to each OAS member state.
Eligibility requirements: 
Only complete applications shall be accepted.
Applications for online programs of study shall be prioritized at the time of scholarship selection.
Eligible candidates must be enrolled as full-time students in the program of study for which the scholarship is being applied between January 1st and December 31st, 2025.
Scholarship funds are awarded for studies starting January 1st, and ending December 31st, 2025.
Scholarship selection and disbursement of scholarship funds shall take place in the second semester of 2025.
Scholarship offers and awards are subject to the availability of OAS funds.
Friday, 7th March 2025 is the deadline for submission.
