Condolences Extended To The State of Qatar

With direct contact already made by Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials and a diplomatic note set for the State of Qatar, on behalf of the Government and people of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, we extend our deepest condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Royal Family, the Government, and the people of the State of Qatar on the passing of His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. As a visionary statesman, he guided Qatar through a remarkable era of transformation and growth, leaving behind a legacy of leadership admired throughout the world. At this time of profound loss, The Bahamas stands in solidarity with the Qatari people, and we join them in mourning the passing of a truly distinguished leader. May his family and the nation of Qatar find comfort and strength in this difficult time.
