Statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration on Reports of shots outside UK Parliament

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration is monitoring the reports of shots outside the UK Parliament. The Ministry has contacted The Bahamas High Commission in London and all Bahamian personnel of the High Commission, The Bahamas Tourist Office and The Bahamas Maritime Authority are reported to be okay. Our prayers and condolences goes out to those affected by this tragedy. The Ministry will continue to monitor the situation.
