JOINT COMMUNIQUE SIGNED

NEW YORK — A Joint Communique on the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed in New York on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, by His Excellency Dr. Elliston Rahming (right), Bahamas Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and the Organization of American States (OAS), on behalf of the Government of The Bahamas, and His Excellency Mr. Yashar Aliyev, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The signing ceremony took place at the Permanent Mission of The Bahamas to the United Nations.
