BAHAMAS FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER IN D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield arrived in Washington, D.C. Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 2017, for a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the region at the Organization of American States (OAS) on Wednesday to consider the situation facing the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the OAS headquarters, 17th Street and Constitution Ave., N.W. Accompanied by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Sharon Brennen-Haylock, shortly after his arrival in D.C. Minister Henfield met with diplomatic staff members of the Bahamas Embassy and The Bahamas Embassy Consular Annex in the conference room of the Embassy, 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., where he was briefed on the various diplomatic engagements of the Embassy and the Consular Annex.
