6 August 2016
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, on behalf of the Government and People of The Bahamas is pleased to extend congratulations to the Government and People of the Plurinational State of Bolivia as they celebrate 191st year of Independence as a sovereign nation.
As countries in the Americas, we are pleased to have had diplomatic relations with Bolivia since 1983, a country that has kept peace and harmony among its indigenous ethnic groups over the years, most remarkably shown in the International Year of Quinoa 2013. We commend Bolivia on efforts taken to improve the livelihoods of all through healthcare, education and progression towards economic development.
We are therefore, honored to congratulate, Bolivia on its nearly two (2) centuries of independence and send our best wishes to the Government and People of Bolivia.
