A Statement on The Passing of Former Canadian PM Brian Mulroney

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas conveys its condolences on the passing of the Former Prime Minister of Canada, The Rt. Hon. Brian Mulroney, PC, CC, GOQ.

Former Prime Minister Mulroney was a friend to The Bahamas, collaborating with former Prime Minister Sir. Lynden Pindling, on several international initiatives, included working towards ending the apartheid in South Africa and their contribution to the introduction of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
