AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY
OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS
TO THE SWISS CONFEDERATION

The Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Geneva, is pleased to advise that Her Excellency Rhoda M. Jackson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented her Credentials to the President of the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Doris Leuthard, on Tuesday, 28 March 2017 at 2:45 at a formal ceremony at the Federal Palace in Bern, Switzerland. Also present were the Swiss Chancellor, Mr. Walter Thurnherr; the Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Mauro Reina; and Mr. Frank Davis, Minister Counsellor in the Embassy.
The President and the Ambassador discussed matters of mutual interest between the two countries, both of which were small states with substantial financial centres.
The Ambassador will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, as she serves concomitantly as the Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Nations Office and Other International Organisations in Geneva.
