AMBASSADOR EllISON E. GREENSLADE, QPM PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC OF GREECE

Athens, Greece — Non-Resident Ambassador-designate of The Bahamas to the Hellenic Republic of Greece, His Excellency Ellison E. Greenslade, QPM, presented Letters of Credence formally accrediting him as the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Hellenic Republic of Greece on Wednesday 12th February 2020. The Letter of Credence, and the letter of recall of Ambassador Greenslade’s predecessor, were presented to His Excellency, President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, at the Presidential Mansion in Athens Greece.

The President of the Hellenic Republic congratulated all Ambassadors who presented credentials and warmly welcomed them to Greece. He proffered his fullest admiration for the countries represented and stressed Greece’s assurance that each country will be treated with equal respect and will all be held in high esteems with the same measure of importance accorded to them. He encouraged active participation by Ambassadors and even closer relationships as they all make their best efforts to represent their respective countries to the best of their abilities.
