Ambassador Mackey Participates in Housing Tour
Ambassador of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Taran Mackey participated in an organized field tour of Salman City, organized by Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning
The ambassador was accompanied by HE Ms. Fatima Ibrahim Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and in the presence of HE Ms Balsam Ali Al-Salman, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs, and ME Mohammed Abdul Aziz Rashdan, Director of the Project Implementation Follow-up Department as well as his wife Dr. Agatha Thompson and Foreign Service Officer Mr. Domnic Gomez.
The visit included the residential buildings project in Salman City, which was inaugurated last week, in addition to reviewing several housing projects implemented in the city. The visit also included viewing the city’s facilities, including beaches, seafronts, pedestrian and bicycle paths, open areas, and green spaces.
During the tour, a detailed presentation was given on the pioneering housing process of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to reviewing the most prominent housing services provided by the Kingdom to citizens, confirming Bahrain’s commitment to continue developing the infrastructure
