Ambassador Taran Mackey Presents Credentials to Bahrain

On 22nd April, 2025, His Excellency Taran Spencer Mackey, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Kingdom of Bahrain, with residence in Nassau, participated in a presentation ceremony to formally present his letters of credence to His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the King of Bahrain.

King Hamad, who has served as monarch and head of state of Bahrain since 1999, accepted the credentials of nineteen ambassadors at the Royal Palace in Manama, the capital city of Bahrain.

The Bahamas and Bahrain sit side by side as neighbours on the floor of the United Nations General Assembly and have enjoyed diplomatic relations since 25th September, 2010.  Ambassador Mackey’s participation in yesterday’s ceremony reflects The Bahamas Government’s commitment to strengthening relations with Member States of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
