Bahamas-Haiti Talks Soon – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Immigration announces for public information that it is planning talks with the new Government of Haiti in the near future on various matters of mutual interest to both nations, including on the subject of migration.

Bahamas Foreign Minister Hon. Fred Mitchell MP is shown greeting the new Haitian President Jovenel Moïse on 16th February, 2017, while both were attending the 28th Inter-Sessional meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government in Georgetown, Guyana. Mr. Moïse took office for a five-year term early in February.
