BAHAMAS SIGNS DIPLOMATC PACT WITH TURKMENISTAN

NEW YORK — The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas established diplomatic relations with the Government of Turkmenistan on Friday, October 7, 2016. The Joint Communique, formalising the significant event, was signed by His Excellency Dr. Elliston Rahming, Permanent Representative of The Bahamas to the United Nations and the Organisation of American States (OAS), and Her Excellency Ms. Aksoltan Atayewa, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations.
