Bahamas Signs Reciprocal Visa Waiver with Ghana

This agreement further strengthens the cooperation between The Bahamas and Ghana, who share mutual interests based on a common history, culture and identity. Both States are pursuing policies that seek climate, tax, and reparatory justice as part of a reimagined global community based on interdependence and justice. The presence of Dr. Julius Garvey, Chairman of Marcus Garvey Institute for Human Development and youngest son of Marcus Garvey, further highlights the significance of the agreement, as a vehicle toward progressive change in the relationship between both peoples separated by the Atlantic ocean.
