Bilateral meeting between The Bahamas and Afghanistan to discuss matters of mutual interest

On Friday, March 3, 2017, the Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the United Nations, H.E. Ambassador Mahmoud Saikal, called on the Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Nations, H.E. Dr. Elliston Rahming at the Permanent Mission of The Bahamas in New York. During the call, matters of mutual interest were discussed including the world drug problem, women’s empowerment and gender equality, the reduction of poverty and job alleviation and climate change.
