Building Innovative Capacity in the Regional Sweet Potato Value Chain

Nassau, The Bahamas-CARDI and IICA  have signed a cooperation agreement with the International Potato Centre (CIP) to work towards the sustainable development  of the potato industry in the Caribbean.  Emphasis were placed on the importance of regional partnership and the focus of CARDI in training Bahamian farmers and extension officers in the sweet potato innovation platform.
