Congratulations extended to Prime Minister Mia Mottley on election victory

The Foreign Minister Fred Mitchell delivered congratulations to Prime Minister Mia Mottley of Barbados on behalf of Prime Minister Philip Davis and the government of The Bahamas on 12 February 2026. Prime Minister Motley was re-elected for a third term on 11 February 2026.

While extending congratulations, Minister Mitchell noted that the Bahamas government looks forward to working in the Caricom context with Barbados as reliable partners.
