GG Paulette Zonicle meets Prime Minister Edi Rama of the Republic of Albania

13227156_746292555508115_2976855873240270287_nWASHINGTON, D.C. – Paulette Zonicle, Consul General of the Embassy Consular Annex was the special guest of the Embassy of Albania at a reception, to welcome Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania. The theme of the reception was “Albanian American Success Stories”, which highlighted the important contributions of Albanian-Americans in the United States in all walks of life.

It should be noted that the visit of Prime Minister Edi Rama to the United States was to mark the formation of the Senate Albanian Issues Caucus, which will be co-chaired by U.S. Senators Gary Peters (D-MI) and Mark Kirk (R-IL).
