Human Rights and Human Security Bureau Attends National Women’s Symposium

4th March, 2025. Nassau- On 22^nd February 2025 – The Human Rights and Human Security Bureau attended the National Women’s Symposium, hosted by the Department of Gender & Family Affairs and The National Women’s Advisory Council of the Ministry of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting, held on 22^nd February, 2025 at Bahamas Harvest Church.

An engaging lineup of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, the attendees were provided with thoughtful insights, strategies, and opportunities, regarding the empowerment and sustainable development for Women. The Symposium highlighted key topics such as professional development, health and mental wellness, and capacity-building. The National Women’s Symposium is a testament to the strength of partnership and the impact of holding safe spaces for women to learn, grow, and encourage each other.
