Jamaica 58th National Day

The Government and People of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas extend congratulations to the Government and People of Jamaica on the occasion of its 58^th National Day.

The Bahamas and Jamaica enjoy excellent relations and collaborate within the context of the Caribbean Community, as well as at the United Nations and other international organizations, on many mutual issues including combating climate change, migration, international financial matters and tourism.

Diplomatic relations between Jamaica and The Bahamas have thrived over the past 47 years. The depth of this relationship is made visible by the large Jamaican community within The Bahamas.

The Bahamas, as it applauds Jamaica on the observance of its National Day, remains committed to the strengthening of ties between both countries.
