Message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration on the National Day of Iceland
On the occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of Iceland’s National Day, 17 July 2016, the Honourable Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of The Bahamas, conveyed congratulations and best wishes to Her Excellency Lilja Alfreðsdóttir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iceland on behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
The Minister referred to the cordial and friendly diplomatic relations between Iceland and The Bahamas for the past 38 years and conveyed to the Government and people of Iceland, The Bahamas’ wish for their continued peace, progress and prosperity.
