Minister Mitchell’s Statement on Earthquake in Jamaica

There was an earthquake in Jamaica this afternoon. The PM and I spoke to the student President in Jamaica tonight and our Consul in Jamaica. It appears that all are physically safe although shaken up by the experience. We are continuing to monitor the situation.
