Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Statement on Deadly Explosion in St Lucia

The Ministry has learned of a explosion 22 March in the north of St. Lucia at a quarry, resulting the death of four persons and injuries to more than a dozen others.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and people of St.  Lucia at this difficult time.  To date there are no reports of Bahamians who might have been affected.  The Ministry will continue to monitor the situation.
