Ministry Paid Courtesy Call by IDLO Official

Director-General H.E. Jerusa Ali and Deputy-Director H.E. Keva Bain met with Ms. Victoria Catliff, Field Programme Manager, International Development Law Organization (IDLO).

Other officials in attendance included: Foreign Service Officer Latoya Graham, Foreign Service Officer Kenneth Wallace-Whitfield and Foreign Service Officer Alanis Ingraham.

Topics discussed during the meeting included: Human Rights, Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Strengthening The Bahamas’ legal framework in several areas,  Finalising the Host-Country Agreement between the IDLO and The Bahamas, the possibility of The Bahamas becoming a member of the IDLO, IDLO’s future projects in The Bahamas and areas for collaboration and development.
