His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A Smith, Governor General, administered the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office to Mr. Jamahl Strachan, MP, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with six other newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries, in a Swearing-In Ceremony on 23 September 2021.
The Ministries for the Parliamentary Secretaries sworn were as follows: Tourism, Aviation and Investments, John Pinder II; Works and Utilities, Bacchus O. Rolle; Office of the Prime Minister, Leon E. Lundy; Office of the Prime Minister (stationed in Abaco), Kirk Cornish; Economic Affairs, Wayde Watson; Foreign Affairs, Jamahl Strachan; and Agriculture, Marine Resources and Family Island Affairs, Leonardo Lightbourne.
