Today, 2nd September 2026 marks the 34th Anniversary of the Honourable Fred Mitchell, Foreign Affairs and Immigration Minister serving in the Bahamas Parliament.
Minister Mitchell is on his fourth term as Foreign Affairs Minister within the 34 year period.
The Bahamas Foreign Affairs Ministry congratulates Minister Mitchell on 34 years of committed public service and commends him for his continued contributions to nation-building.
His outstanding leadership remains at the core of our country’s diplomatic standing on the global stage.
