Public Advisory on Hurricane Irma

The Ministry wishes to advise the Bahamian public and nationals overseas that the Government is monitoring closely the path of Hurricane Irma, which stands to impact parts of the Caribbean, including The Bahamas, and parts of the USA.

The Ministry urges all nationals located outside The Bahamas to take necessary precautions and adhere to the safety and security measures put in place by local officials in your locations.

The Ministry, if possible, will continue to provide updates on its website, FB and Twitter pages.

Please contact your family members as soon as possible.
