REMINDER- CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR 2 MANDATE HOLDERS OF THE HUMAN RIGHS COUNCIL

The Secretariat of the Human Rights Council is now accepting applications for the following vacancies:

Special Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons (Human Rights Council resolution 41/15)*
Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers (Human Rights Council resolution 44/8)

These unremunerated United Nations expert positions established by the Human Rights Council are expected to be filled at the Council’s 51st session (12 September to 7 October 2022), with the appointments to be made at the end of that session. Individuals seeking appointment should have extensive and internationally recognized professional experience and expertise in the field of human rights with an emphasis on the particular human rights issues to which the positions relate.
