Statement from The Foreign Ministry on report on social media of interdiction of Iranians entering the U.S

We have sought urgent clarification from the U S government about a social media post from a U.S Congresswoman that Iranians and Russians were interdicted by the U.S Coastguard from The Bahamas trying to enter the U S unlawfully. No security agency of The Bahamas is aware of any such incident. We await a reply from the U.S authorities.
