The Government of The Bahamas has sent condolences to the President of the Republic Of South Africa on the passing of Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi, former National Security Minister and a leading figure in the anti-apartheid era.

The Foreign Minister communicated the condolences to South Africa’s Foreign Minister earlier today. A diplomatic note will follow.
