Statement of Condolence on the Passing of Honorary Consul Dr. Michal Lazar

The Foreign Ministry of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas sends condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Michal Lazar, Honorary Consul for The Bahamas in the Slovak Republic.

Honorary Consul Lazar passed away on the 21st of January 2024.

Honorary Consul Lazar played an integral role in assisting with the promotion of The Bahamas and ensuring the well-being of Bahamians who crossed his path in his role as an Honorary Consul for The Bahamas since 2010.

On behalf of The Government and People of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Foreign Minister the Hon. Frederick A. Mitchell M.P. offered condolences.
