The Bahamas’ 43rd Independence Celebrations in London, England 

The Bahamas High Commission London will launch its month of activities for the 43rd Anniversary of the country’s independence on Friday, July 8th at 6:30pm with a Bahamian themed reception at the International Maritime Organization headquarters located 4 Albert Embankment. Invited guests including the Bahamian diaspora, Bahamian students, members of the Diplomatic Corp and friends will enjoy a taste of The Bahamas through culinary creations and music.

On Monday, July 11th at 5:00pm The Dean of Westminster Abbey, The Very Reverend Dr John Hall has invited The Bahamas High Commission London and Bahamians to celebrate Independence with a Choral Evensong at the Abbey.

The mission concludes July celebrations by hosting a Bahamian Independence Breakfast for staff featuring traditional cuisine including stewed fish and stewed conch with Johnny cake and more Bahamian treats.
