The Bahamas’ 43^rd Independence Celebrations in London, England 

The Bahamas High Commission London will launch its month of activities for the 43^rd Anniversary of the country’s independence on Friday, July 8^th at 6:30pm with a Bahamian themed reception at the International Maritime Organization headquarters located 4 Albert Embankment. Invited guests including the Bahamian diaspora, Bahamian students, members of the Diplomatic Corp and friends will enjoy a taste of The Bahamas through culinary creations and music.

On Monday, July 11^th at 5:00pm The Dean of Westminster Abbey, The Very Reverend Dr John Hall has invited The Bahamas High Commission London and Bahamians to celebrate Independence with a Choral Evensong at the Abbey.

The mission concludes July celebrations by hosting a Bahamian Independence Breakfast for staff featuring traditional cuisine including stewed fish and stewed conch with Johnny cake and more Bahamian treats.
