The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, on behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, expresses heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the Federative Republic of Brazil following the fatal shooting incident that occurred in Suzano, Brazil, on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.

The disregard for human life and human dignity evidenced on this occasion is truly baffling. We as a country empathise with the Government and people of Brazil over this tragic incident and hope that this never happens again. May God have mercy these young souls.
