The Commissioner of Police, Paul A. Rolle, Esq, QPM, MS, BS, was invited by Lt. General Abdullah Khalifah Al Marri, Commander in Chief, Dubai Police, on the recommendation of H.E. Tony Joudi, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and to the State of Qatar, to attend the first annual edition of the World Police Summit (WPS). The Summit took place from 14th-17th March, 2022, and was hosted by the Dubai Police under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
The Summit consisted of six focused conferences, as well as several high-level meetings, covering crime prevention, drones, forensics, anti-narcotics, K9, innovation & resilience. The Summit convened over 2,000 delegates from the global law enforcement industry, bringing together senior officials, industry leaders, and decision-makers to share best practices and strategies to foster safer communities and address the challenges, opportunities and technologies that will transform the sector in the coming years. An invitation was extended for The Bahamas to participate in the annual exhibits.
