Zimbabwe 42nd Independence

The Government and People of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas extend congratulations to The Government and People of Zimbabwe on the occasion of their 42^nd Anniversary of Independence. .

Diplomatic ties have been established between Zimbabwe and The Bahamas since 1989. Zimbabwe and The Bahamas have built a bond through mutual commitment to environmental sustainability, fighting climate change and  the eradication of poverty.

The Bahamas, as it applauds Zimbabwe on the observance of its National Day, remains committed to the strengthening of bi-lateral ties and a friendly relationship between both countries.
