Bahamas Congratulates France
 
The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has congratulated the Government of the French Republic on the successful exercise of democracy in its recent Presidential Election.
 
The Government of The Bahamas looks forward to continuing the mutually cordial and long standing friendly relationship between the two countries. Diplomatic Relations between The Bahamas and the French Republic were established in 1974.
 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration has sent a Diplomatic Note of congratulations to Government of the French Republic and to the President elect, M. Emmanuel Macron, noting that the Government of The Bahamas looks forward to continued good relations between the two countries.
