Bahamian athletes compete in Lausanne, Switzerland

Lausanne, Switzerland — Two Bahamian athletes competed in the Athletissima 2016 meet in Lausanne, Switzerland held Thursday, 25 August, placing second and sixth in their events. Stephen Gardiner placed second in the men’s 400 m while Donald Thomas placed sixth in the high jump.
Atletissima is an annual international competition sponsored by the IAAF Diamond League.
On hand to support the athletes were Ambassador Rhoda M. Jackson and several visiting Bahamians. The Ambassador was invited to the pre-game reception by Athletissima Director, Jacky Delapierre.
