Statement on Latest Canadian Travel Advisory on The Bahamas

The Government of The Bahamas has noted the latest travel advisory update by the Canadian government dated 26 April 2023. However, there has been no change from its last published advisory dated 3 January 2023. The Foreign Ministry takes this opportunity to assure visitors to The Bahamas that their safety is of the utmost importance.

This advisory is not dissimilar to those we issue to our citizens travelling abroad. Our citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and exercise caution.
